I have been fascinated by the world of writing and literature for years. They are actually in my blood. Since that there are few people for me to open hearts to each other, writing becomes an effective way to express my opinion, emotion and feeling without reservation.

When I was in the junior high school, I witnessed a school bullying incident and felt extremely astonished by the group of students’ viciousness presented in such an incident. As a faithful writing lover, writing it down and contributing my essay to my school magazine turned out to be my first reaction to the bullying incident. In my essay, I not only described some details of the incident, but also stated my own opinions on campus violence. Nonetheless, due to its negative nature, it was unable to be published at that time.

Rejected by the school magazine, I felt guilty for having not able to do some right things. Suddenly, a good idea came to my mind: now that the school magazine refused my writing, why shouldn’t I make another magazine on my own? With a can-do attitude, I made a detailed plan for it: firstly, I found out some of my formal essays including the one concerning the school bullying incident and collected some hot issues like a short story or some jokes in the preparatory stage. then I set type for each page of my own magazine in order to formulate a relatively perfect one. next, I contacted a printing shop and requested them to print all those pages out. Finally, I sorted out those pages into more than 10 magazines and gave out to some classmates that I trusted. In return, I received unanimous applause from them.

Encouraged by those classmates, I continued my magazine formulating career for around one year. When it came to my senior year, I had to stop it due to heavy course work. Although my own magazine stopped, my love for writing and literature never died. In the senior high school, I become a formal editor of my school magazine, in charge of collecting various essays from my classmates. Absolutely, I also published my own essays at the school magazine from time to time. Now, as a undergraduate student, I am made responsible for writing comments on current events.
